Alison
Business Development Manager
Alison joined Mayden in 2011. Having started her working life as a graduate General Management Trainee in the NHS, she went on to hold a number of operational and strategic management positions in acute and community sectors before moving into management consultancy with one of the UK’s leading specialist healthcare consultancy firms. Alison therefore brings both an in-depth knowledge of the NHS and clinical processes, as well as considerable project management experience. As well as managing web and consultancy projects for Mayden clients, Alison is responsible for managing Mayden’s business infrastructure and company development.

Becky
Marketing Manager
Becky developed a passion for language at an early age, and went on to study for a BA in English Language and Linguistics where she graduated top of her class. She then embarked on a career in Marketing enabling her to make the most of her skills. She joined one of the UK’s leading clinical system suppliers as a Marketing Assistant and was quickly promoted to Marketing Manager where she was responsible for all of the marketing activities for the company, ranging from events management, press and PR, copy writing and branding. It was there that she combined her love for language with a new found passion for Health Informatics. Becky joined Mayden in 2011 and is responsible for managing Mayden’s Marketing and PR activities.

Chris E
Product Development Manager
Chris E has been working for Mayden since 2009 as the Project Manager for IAPTus. It’s a role he greatly enjoys, as it requires constant dialogue with the customers in order to understand their needs and prioritise development in IAPTus. Prior to joining Mayden, Chris worked for six years with the Manufacturing Advisory Service, an organisation set up by the DTI to help UK manufacturers increase productivity and competitiveness by implementing 'Lean' tools and techniques. He originally studied Mechanical Engineering and went on to Cambridge University for some post graduate studies.

Chris M
Managing Director
The founder and managing director of Mayden. Formerly from a manufacturing background he has dedicated his career to the healthcare sector for the last 21 years, initially as a hospital manager and then as a management consultant specialising in information analysis and modelling to support strategic reviews and business cases.
Chris is passionate about maximising the opportunities presented by the internet both to provide joined up healthcare and to increase the cost effectiveness of healthcare IT. This is now his primary area of interest.

Christian
Designer
Christian started working at Mayden in 2010 having previously run a design business for several years. With an extensive background in user interface design for software applications, his role at Mayden includes acting as the UI design lead. This involves working closely on new application development to ensure that the user interface and experience are always appropriately considered. He is also the in-house designer, working on visual designs for websites and applications and taking these through to working templates.

Claire
IAPTus Client Support
Claire joined Mayden in 2009, initially working on Healthcare Today and CQuINS before becoming the Customer Relations Manager for IAPTus. Claire helps clients get the best out of IAPTus, in particular the reporting tools and care pathway design, and also organises and runs IAPTus training sessions for clinicians, admin staff and managers . She has a special interest in data comparison.

Dan
Software Developer
Dan joined Mayden in 2011. He developed a passion for technology, and in particular web technologies, from an early age, going on to complete a BTEC National Diploma in Software Development at college. He swiftly moved on to obtain a Computer Science degree and now works at Mayden as a software developer using technologies such as PHP/MySQL, Javascript and HTML/CSS.

Dave
Software Developer
Dave came to work for Mayden after graduating in 2010. Whilst at university he took some time out to develop software for the Aviation industry. Dave brings to Mayden expertise in several programming languages and operating systems. Dave works on IAPTus, flourishing in the more technical aspects of the role, and specialising in the development of the complex reporting aspects of the system. He is also part of the team that develops and maintains the websites for the Mayden Foundation.

Erica
Software Developer
Erica joined Mayden in 2009 following a career change from the legal profession to web applications programming. She started off working on a number of different projects, but rapidly became focused on the IAPTus application and is now a full-time member of the IAPTus team. She works primarily in PHP programming with a little MySQL and Javascript, and, like most Mayden developers, is also involved in client support. She has a particular interest in the testing and procedures side of the software development cycle.

Laura
Software Developer
Laura graduated in Computer Science with a Masters degree and joined Mayden in 2006. She has worked on both CQuINS and Healthcare Today, developed CRiSCRoS, and most recently launched ELCQuA in 2011. Laura is particularly interested in online reporting tools, such as the automatic creation of Excel spreadsheets. She has developed considerable expertise in this area through the development of ELCQuA, as well as the improvement of the user interface for online assessment tools used by the NHS. Other applications she has developed include postcode and mapping modules used on other Mayden products such as IAPTus. Laura is also our recruitment lead.

Louis
Software Developer
Louis joined Mayden in 2011. Having studied a computing degree at university, Louis continues to apply and develop his skills as a Web Developer. He offers a varied skill-set with a strong combination of design and technical expertise, as well as sound knowledge in specialist applications.

Lucy
Office Administrator
Lucy joined Mayden in 2011. After 14 years on and off travelling and working her way round the world, Lucy finally moved to Bath in 2000 and settled down! She originally trained in Hotel & Catering Management, then obtained a post-graduate Business & Secretarial diploma which led to, amongst other things, working for a training company in London, and the RUH in Bath. She provides administrative support across Mayden, particularly in the development and maintenance of our internal company systems processes.

Luke
Software Developer
Luke has over a decade of experience developing and project managing web applications and data systems and was Mayden’s first employee! Although predominantly a PHP coder, he is also au fait with Ruby on Rails and ASP.NET and likes to keep abreast of all the latest innovations in the tech world.

Martine
Office Manager
Martine joined Mayden in 2004. She has 20 years’ experience in admin and accounts. Having studied for a Secretarial Certificate at college, she went on to work for a major tyre manufacturer as an Office Junior, moving into the legal department and supporting the solicitors and company secretary. She then worked as an Office Manager and Purchase Ledger Clerk for a plumbing company. She is now Mayden's Office Manager and is also responsible for the company accounts and keeping our healthcare website, www.healthcare-today.co.uk, up-to-date with the latest news from several different sources.

Matt
Software Developer
Matt joined Mayden in 2009 after graduating from a computer science degree, having previously managed large data management systems for a magazine publisher and developed data collection and analysis systems for government funded surveys. After working on www.healthcare-today.co.uk and the Mayden CMS system he moved onto IAPTus, adding technically complex features such as text message appointment reminders and an advanced GP Practice management system. He has a particular interest in technical problem solving and finding innovative solutions, bringing new technology and techniques to both IAPTus and Mayden.

Matt H
Software Developer
Matt recently joined Mayden after completing a sandwich degree in Web Applications Development. Building on skills developed from his placement year, he is currently involved with a range of projects and technologies at Mayden.

Oliver
Project Manager
Oliver has over 15 years’ experience in IT, from small business to blue chip companies. He enjoys delivering change and real benefit to the health service, as part of the team at Mayden. He is currently working as the Project Manager for MyAction and the CQuINS teams.

Rachel
Office Administrator
Rachel has been with Mayden since 2010. She is our receptionist whilst also providing administrative support across a number of Mayden client products.

Richard
Software Developer
Richard has a Masters degree with distinction in Computer Science, and has gained considerable experience working with complex web systems since joining Mayden in 2007. He is a long-standing member of the IAPTus team and specialises in building high performance and sophisticated reporting systems, with the goal of improving data quality and team management. He is motivated by a challenge, and believes that nothing is impossible as long as you are willing to put in the work.

Sarah
Software Developer
Sarah has a first class bachelor’s degree in Internet Computing. She joined Mayden in 2011 and works on a combination of web design and development projects. She previously worked as a web designer for a mail order catalogue company, and is excited to now be working with an enthusiastic team on Mayden’s up and coming projects.

Shaun
Gap year student
Shaun is currently an undergraduate studying Mathematics at university and is spending a year with Mayden as part of his studies. He has joined the IAPTus team where his main role so far has been based around data analysis. He is learning new things every day and is looking forward to being more involved with different aspects of the company as the year progresses.

Steve
Technical Manager
Steve has extensive experience in commercial IT projects and holds a Masters degree in related disciplines. He started off testing software for multi-million pound telecoms equipment and the global rail industry. Since then, he has spent the past eight years working with Internet and Wide Area Network Technologies. Highlights of this time include the development of online financial management software, and authoring a high performance e-commerce platform used on many commercial sites today. In more recent years, Steve has worked on high traffic applications for the media industry, and now oversees the technical development of Mayden's flagship product, IAPTus.

Tim
IAPTus Client Support
Tim joined Mayden in 2011 from Virgin Media. He has over 9 years’ experience in customer and project support within the telecommunications sector. Tim has joined the IAPTus team to help clients get the best out of IAPTus, in particular, care pathway designs and reporting tools. He will also be involved in organising and running IAPTus training sessions for clinicians, admin staff and managers.

Tomas
Software Developer
Tomas is responsible for Mayden’s Customer Relationship Management System and support software. He has considerable creative flair, and is currently working on user interfaces, graphics and design.
