We are delighted to welcome two new members to the Mayden team:

Mayden short-listed for Innovation Award

5th September 2011

We are delighted to have been selected as finalists for the Bath Business Awards in the Most Innovative Business category. The awards are run by the Bath Chronicle in conjunction with Bath Racecourse and the award winners will be announced on 29th September.

In recent years, Bath has become a centre for creative industries and is rife with innovation so we are especially delighted to have risen above a prestigious field to reach the finals, even more so given we are based in two rural settings outside the city.

Second N3 link now installed

25th August 2011

Mayden has just completed installation of a second N3 link at our new data centre in Bournemouth, adding to the N3 network already installed in Bracknell. The new link will allow us to mirror critical data across data centres in real time over a private, secure connection. This would essentially offer whole data centre redundancy (ie if one data centre goes down then the traffic can be transferred to the second with minimal downtime).

The Bournemouth data centre will be available for client systems shortly; in 2012 we are also on target to provide additional data centre capacity in Rotherham. This will potentially allow us to host client systems closer to end users, saving those valuable milliseconds and improving response times further.

Mayden launches new website

19th July 2011

Mayden has gone live with a new website reflecting its growing focus on providing cloud applications to the healthcare sector. The new site has been designed and implemented on a Word Press network and we’ll certainly be aiming to put the world-leading blog software through its paces as we build on this foundation.

The new website will not just be a shop window for our products and services; instead we want to build a resource with content that all professionals working in eHealth will find useful. In particular, we want to grow the Resource and Communications sections of the site to provide valuable interactive tools and data that bring life to the content.
